There are many ways you can volunteer with Fresh Start Rescue, Inc. We need people who can clean cages, feed animals, help teach classes, work community events, and help with special projects such as landscaping, building enclosures, electrical, plumbing, hvac, painting, and more. We can also use help with fundraising and soliciting corporate donations. All volunteers are required to put in at least ONE shift at the rescue located near Wallace, NC every month. There may be some exceptions for volunteers who only want to work on special projects on an as-needed basis. Volunteers must be 16 years old with signed parental permission, or 13 years old with a parent present at all times.
